Scoring Goals, Building Legacies: FCC USA and the US Barça Foundation Join Forces in Miami-Dade
A Global Stage for Local Impact
We are officially launching the "Scoring Goals, Building Legacies" initiative alongside the US Barça Foundation. This collaboration will transform the lives of over 500 youth in Miami-Dade County during the 2025-2027 cycle.
Transforming Critical Hours
Together, we are focusing on the hours between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, the most vulnerable time for unsupervised youth. This alliance turns those hours into a shared space for leadership, friendship, and emotional well-being.
Combining Expertise
This project merges FC Barcelona’s global reach with our local pedagogical model to strengthen underserved communities. We are working together in Homestead, Doral, and Downtown Miami to remove economic barriers to quality sports programs.
Building a Future of Belonging
At FCC, we use soccer as a powerful tool for community connection and social impact. We are celebrating the power of the game to bring families together and build a sense of pride. Experiences like this create meaningful pathways for our young leaders to shine.
Empowering the Next Generation
A key pillar of our collaboration is certifying local teenagers as youth leaders through a paid internship program. By empowering these young mentors, the alliance ensures that the impact of the project continues within their own neighborhoods.
Strengthening Family Bonds
Through joint Family Community Futbol Days, the initiative provides a space for parents and caregivers to engage and have fun. This effort promotes parental involvement and builds stronger family foundations across the county.
