FCC at Luisa Santos’ Winter Wonderland Event
At Fútbol con Corazón (FCC), we believe that community is built through presence, care, and shared experiences. This belief came to life during Luisa Santos’ Winter Fall community event, where families, students, partners, and neighbors gathered to celebrate the holiday season together.
The event brought together District 9 families for an evening filled with joy and connection. Children and parents enjoyed free toys, student performances, face painting, food, and soccer, creating a space where celebration and belonging were at the center.
More Than an Event: A Space to Belong
For FCC, being part of this event went beyond attendance. Our team was proud to support the celebration by helping distribute gifts, playing soccer with youth, and sharing meaningful moments with families. These interactions—simple yet powerful—reflect what we strive to create every day: safe spaces where children feel seen, supported, and free to play.
Soccer, when paired with mentorship and care, becomes more than a game. It becomes a tool for connection, emotional expression, and community building. Events like this remind us that play has the power to bring people together across ages, backgrounds, and experiences.
Gratitude for Community Partnerships
We are deeply grateful to Luisa Santos, District 9 families, students, and community partners for welcoming us and for creating a space rooted in joy, generosity, and togetherness. Strong communities are built through collaboration, and it is an honor to stand alongside leaders and families who prioritize children, wellbeing, and opportunity.
As we continue our work across communities, moments like these reaffirm our mission: to bring play back, strengthen social bonds, and support the healthy development of youth—on and off the field.
Together, we keep building community through play. ⚽❤️
