A Story of Growth and Belonging: Ricky’s Journey with FCC USA

At FCC, we believe that every child deserves a space where they feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow.

Ricky, an 11-year-old from South Florida, joined our program in August through his neighborhood recreation center. With no prior experience in soccer, he felt nervous and unsure about stepping into something completely new.

But what Ricky found wasn’t just a soccer field, it was a community!

With the encouragement of his coaches and teammates, Ricky began to believe in himself. He developed his skills little by little, and along the way, discovered a love for the game and a new confidence that reached far beyond the field.

Today, Ricky walks into each session with excitement and pride. He’s not only learned to play—he’s learned to trust himself, connect with others, and keep growing.
