FCC INTERVENTION MODEL: “EDUCATING FOR LIFE”

SOCCER FOR PEACE

Soccer for Peace is the pedagogical method of Fútbol Con Corazón.

To create values and skills for life.

To promote peaceful conflict resolution.

To promote gender equality and a healthy co-existence.

We refresh the rules of the game:
  • The game is played in three stages.
  • Co-existence agreements signed.
  • Mixed teams.
  • No referees.
  • The first goal must always be scored by a girl.
  • Every team member must participate.
  • There is an evaluation and a self-evaluation.
  • To win, a team must demonstrate a blend of goals and behavior.

The soccer game takes place in three stages

The Warmup: The kids start with physical, and cognitive, exercises that work on the month’s theme.

The Game: The game integrates the month’s theme, which include elements of physical, emotional, cognitive and social growth.

The Locker Room: Through a guided analysis led by the coach, the kids build their own learning processes based on the themes they’ve practiced during the warmup and the game.
